Does SystemStarter terminate and restart all items in case of a logout/login?

The answer to that one is:

- Your startupitem process is not terminated and restarted at logout/login.
- Your startupitem process may be terminated at logout if one fo your call attached you to the Window Server.

Now the issue is to find which call is getting you attached to the Window server.

Are you doing something specific on user login (via a callback from the SCF)?
