Newbie Splash Screen Question

  • Subject: Newbie Splash Screen Question

Howdy!

I have a newbie question: I want to put up a graphic in as a splash screen and have the graphic go away with a user click or key press. What is the best way to do that?

Here is what I have done:
I have created the graphic as a TIFF.
I have the graphic embedded into a window. (How do I remove the title bar?)
I can't seem to get the window to center.
I have over ridden "keyDown" but, my method does not seem be called.
(I do have WindowController as the Window's delegate.)

Sorry for this newbie question.
