Is there any way to get accented characters in the regular

character. How can I get around this limitation?
You should be able to use accented characters in .strings files. Just
make sure that the file is in Unicode format...
If you have BBEdit, then try opening it up in BBEdit and make sure
"Encode as Unicode" and "Include Byte-Order Mark" are both turned on in
the file's settings. That should do the trick...
