Excellent. Sometimes the biggest step in learning is identifying that wrong assumption.

For my particular needs it would be much better if + (NSArray *)properties only returned properties that have values defined for one or more People. I understand it shows all 'standard' properties, use or not, plus any custom properties that have been added. I'm going to have to iterate through the file to find which ones are in use. Thanks for getting me back on track.
