I have two questions for you all. Hopefully someone out there can
answer them. :)
First: I use a few table views in my program, and I have noticed one
annoying problem. When a user turns on a column via preferences, the
new column's position is not automatically saved. This is apparent,
because when a user enables a column, doesn't move around or change the
size of any column, and then quits my program, the enabled column does
not show up in the table view on subsequent launch, even though
preferences indicate that it is enabled. However, if one enables a
column, moves or resizes any column in the table view, and THEN quits,
the column is indeed visible on next launch.
So my question is, how do I force the autosave feature to update column
positions when I add a column?
Second question: I've noticed that there is a "pbdevelopment.plist"
file in all of my built products. How do I stop this file from being
added to built products, because it shows an absolute path to the
project file that I don't want actual users of my program to see.
Any help would be much appreciated.
