Howdy,

Newbie question here. Sorry.

I am saving a rich text file (basically the same type as used by TextEdit) and I am trying to get the extension in the Save dialog to be .rtf (it is currently showing .txt). In addition I want to set the HFS type code. At the moment I am following AppleWorks lead and setting it to 'TEXT' but I am not sure that is correct.

I have two document types in my file, in one, I set all of these things myself and it is working well. In the other I am using the default document methods and the results (the .txt rather then .rft and the lack of HFS type code) is a problem.
