Loading a Text File into an NSTextView

The controller object in my project is a subclass of
NSWindowController. I have no problem retreiving the filename that I
want to load, but I'm having difficulty finding a method I can
implement to load a plain text file into a NSString or an NSTextView.
Can anyone point me to the right direction?
