The point about the Safari downloads window is valid, but like I said
earlier, both iChat and Safari interface with the address book, so the main
windows at least slip by do to this part of the HIG:

"...interface for managing data shared with digital peripherals, such as the
Address Book application."

But I do agree, it's Metal Madness these days. Were there any non-metal
windows shown during the MWSF keynote? :)
