What is the bottom part of the size inspector when a window is
selected ? The bottom is similar to the autosizing part of the size
inspector when a widget is selected (but with an Aqua window in the
middle)
Those springs and rods should* work similar to a view when its window
changes size. When a window is placed onto a screen that differs in
size from which screen it was on when archived, it will move (and not
resize, which is why there are only 4 springs) according to these
springs/rods. I don't know if these springs are only checked a window
is unarchived or whenever a window's screen size changes.

*I remember them not working at some point, but I haven't tested it in
years.
