Not sure that's a great reason to diverge from the HIG. Reminds me of
a dark joke we had at a place I used to work: "we'll do the right
thing, as long as it's convenient."
While I agree with that, I'm facing that exact problem myself now.
I'm going to show some related windows - which really should be
designed as sheets - in a screen saver configuration dialog, which is a
sheet itself. Now the problem is, since my screen saver is only a
plugin, I simply *can't* close and reopen the configuration sheet.
So what should I do? Use regular windows or display sheets on a sheet?
