[NSApplication unhide] vs. [NSApplication activateIgnoringOtherApps:]

  • Subject: [NSApplication unhide] vs. [NSApplication activateIgnoringOtherApps:]
  • From: Jim Correia <email@hidden>

What are the practical differences between calling

[NSApp unhide] and [NSApp activateIgnoringOtherApps: YES]

(I realize in general it is rude to pop your app to the front but in some cases it is warranted, like in the case of the Summary service, for exampe...)

Thanks,
Jim
