PeopleSoft Development Possibility

Is there a story for using the PeopleSoft application
engine with MacOS X? Has anyone attempted this?

The only folks I see using MacOS X are if you use the
Excel PeopleTools then they work in Office's Excel for
X. Anyway I have a project that requires me to extend
a Windows Visual C++ PeopleSoft app -- curious since
I have to learn it, if there'd be a way to use what I develop
on X.
