If you a student then you can become a student member of ADC for $99.
This includes one hardware asset for the life of the student membership
(i.e. you can't renew your student membership and get another hardware
discount). You also get monthly developer mailings for a year.

So putting down $99 to get up to $600 off of a new Mac is a pretty good
way to go.

Of course someone could trade me a hardware asset for a copy of
Defaults Manager. ;-)
