probably already attending.
I suspect Apple is more interested in preventing details of its new
systems from appearing in the press in an uncontrolled trickle, rather
than all at once at a time of their choosing. That and the fact that
having an NDA probably has some legal consequences in terms of
competitors (e.g. Microsoft) that might try to copy Apple's ideas once
they're out in public (I imagine, for example, that details released
under NDA count as industrial secrets, and certainly in the UK there is
some legal protection for such information).
I'm sure that the intention is that developers shouldn't be able to
discuss the new developments, although Apple would probably rather we
all signed NDAs first ;-)
Perhaps it'd be worth discussing with Apple the possibility of those
*not* attending the WWDC signing NDAs covering the WWDC material so
that they could talk about it?
Kind regards,
Alastair.
