Hi.
I'm using the developer preview of Panther.
I'm working on a Foundation tool which works very well in Panther.
Unfortunately, when I try and launch it from Jaguar's terminal, I get
an error :
dyld: ./MyExec can't open library:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ZeroLink.framework/Versions/A/
ZeroLink (No such file or directory, errno = 2)
I found no options in Xcode's preferences to disable the use of
ZeroLink (even though I thought ZeroLink was only used for
development).
Why is it looking for the ZeroLing framework ?
How to get it work ?
Thanks a lot !
Nico.
I guess since everyone is talking about it, that it isn't covered by
the NDA any more...
Oh, it probably is, but y'know, one thing Apple has never done that
would be very helpful to developers is, they have never created a forum
for developers under NDA to communicate with each other about problems
like the one cited above.
A mailing list, even with a restricted membership, might be too loose,
but they could create a forum/bulletin board accessible via the ADC web
site. Once you log in, there could be a level available to Premier
members, a level available to Premier & Select members, etc.
I can think of reasons why Apple has been reluctant to do this, but
maybe with OS X not undergoing the level of critical scrutiny that it
was a year or two ago, they could afford to try something different. It
would certainly help out developers trying get started with new tools
like XCode and it would probably help Apple gain more control over
pre-release information, as it would remove the temptation to post
questions about NDA software to public forums.
