Xcode issues

I'm starting using Xcode seriously for the first time after the WWDC and I'm finding these problems:

1. Opened a big project (15000 lines 100s files) and Xcode when I AM DOING NOTHING sucks all my CPU making my Mac just to starve! I have been trying to disable the pre-compile... some option in the preferences... but nothing I wonder how to disable any hidden process behind.

2. I just can't make the Fix&Continue features to work... the icon in the toolbar called FIX is disable... and I have the FIX_AND_CONTINUE flag turned on...

any clues guys?

Thanks!

Giovanni
