Is there a need for a (perhaps moderated) forum dedicated to advanced

IMHO if we had a separate forum for "advanced" questions, we run the
risk of losing some of the more experienced people from this list. In
any case, what does "advanced" mean in this context? I doubt it'd be
obvious to a lot of the people who post questions to this list, so
they'll probably just cross-post in the hope of attracting the
attention of someone who can answer their question. If you're
concerned that we're getting too many questions about really basic
stuff (or about topics that have been covered several times before),
perhaps we should have an FAQ?
(Forgive me if I'm being dumb and have just missed it, but I can't seem
to find a comprehensive Cocoa FAQ anywhere; I did notice that
www.cocoafaq.com exists, but it's currently redirected to Stepwise,
which, although full of useful information about Cocoa, doesn't seem to
have a simple FAQ anywhere on it.)
Kind regards,
Alastair.
