libcurl question
libcurl question

Ok, my other lib-related thread ended with a big bang of info (some of which
was apropos). It was in response to the question "Are '.a' libs ALWAYS
static?" (paraphrased). The author of the final post said, in so many
words, that they are.
If this is this case, and I'm sure it is, then does it make sense to say
that if I update libcurl.a from 7.7.x to 7.10.x that it shouldn't break any
apps that leverage(d) off of it? I mean, it makes sense in my mind, but I
guess I need a little affirmation before proceeding to update libcurl.
Thanks.
- Philip
