As an Australian Mac developer I would say that
there are very few Australian companies doing
Mac development. Those that are would probably
be seeking someone with extensive experience.
And as you are probably aware IT job opportunites
in general are pretty poor at the moment.
I would have thought that Filemaker programming
is a nice little niche since it is both Mac and Windows
and even Web. So is that little niche contracting??
I would suggest that Filemaker plugin
development might be a simple entre for you into the
"real" programming area.
