Gee, I wish that I knew of one. There's a couple of websites that
tracks these:
http://filext.com/
http://file-extension.info/
check google for more (I used "file extension database")
Keep in mind that file extensions are supposed to be O/S independent,
now. (Flame baiters move along.) So, Apple has no authority. So far,
it's up to developers to police themselves. I'm forever getting weird
game support files being claimed by other apps, especially PhotoShop
and Image Converter (even non-image files, I mean).
How do I stake out my claim?
Get famous enough that the user community prefers your app to the
Nourishment Editor? Hopefully someone has a better response.
