I realize that it is a bit off-topic, but since Obj-C is not too far from C. Can anyone tell me what Apple did with those functions that are normally in stdio?

It's nowhere to be found, no header, no man page, but it links fine. Contrary to some other functions I've tried to use that are in the headers, have man pages but aren't implemented. Very amusing. Apple's libc is almost completely useless, for all I care.
