Philadelphia Cocoa group?

Is there enough interest for a Philadelphia group? I would be willing to host it here at the university. I have a few students who I am sure would be interested, but for it to be "real" we would need to have people from outside.

We already host the Philadelphia Linux User's Group (PLUG), and I would picture something along those lines. We have a nice classroom with iMacs/eMacs, plus AV support.

We can exert the effort to make up an acronym if there is enough interest!

Greetings,

This is to announce the formation of "CocoaHeads", the Western Pennsylvania
Mac Programmer's Group (it is a silly name, but it beats an unpronounceable
acronym like WPMPG)

Our inaugrual meeting will be held Thursday June 12th (2003) in Pittsburgh,
on the CMU campus in Newell-Simon Hall, room 3001 , from 7:00 until 9:00.

The agenda for our first meeting will be:
* Meet, talk, enjoy some coffee and donuts
* AgentM will give a talk about "The Freedom of Objective-C",
Objective-C as compared to other languages he's encountered
over the years.
* Free discussion, show-and-tell of example programs
* Closing and formation for the next agenda.

We'll also have a door-prize drawing for a free copy of a new Mac
programming book.

Please check the web page at http://borkware.com/cocoaheads/ for more
information.

Thanks,

Discussion after watching Disney's "Lilo & Stitch":

DAD: "But why did the space aliens speak English, as opposed to French, or Swahili? And why did the one alien speak English with an Eastern European accent? I don't get it."

CATHERINE (age 7): "That's 'cause you don't have a good cartoon brain."
