I have _exactly_ the same style for writing comments. And I'm no writer by
trade (ok, writing code doesn't count as "writing", right? ;-)), I'm a
mathematician, and I do SD for a living.

Funny thing is that my colleagues tend to be extremely sparse with comments.
In my code, at least half of the lines are comments. And of course my
comments are in English, which annoys my colleagues. FYI, I'm German, and
not a native speaker. English is so nice, short and precise for this kind of
thing!
