I guess it is supported. With the December Developer Tools you can
specify your favourite editor to be used instead of the PB one (which
more or less sucks :(
Oh come now... If you set PB's key bindings to use a more complete set
of emacs key bindings, it's a lot nicer, at least for emacs fans like
myself. I suppose you could use vi/vim key bindings as well, although
the editor still isn't modal. I personally like using emacs
keybindings for all of the Cocoa text system. For those of you that
don't remember how to set your own keybindings:

That could make text editing in Project Builder much more tolerable.
