I knew it had to be something like this. When checking "Target VM
version", it says "Unspecified". But I do not have 1.4.1 in the
popup-list, only 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. How do I specify that I want 1.4.1? I
have installed Java 1.4.1, but do I have to do anything extra with the
developer tools?

Do anyone know why? I haven't had any such problems with the
Java-bridge before.
java.util.regex was introduced in Java 1.4.
Does your project specify that it uses Java 1.4 in the "Target VM
Version" portion of your target's Info.plist entries? If no Java
version is specified, for compatibility purposes Mac OS X assumes that
you want Java 1.3.1.
