Not that you asked, but here is my wishlist of tool improvements:
Here are the top few items on my wish-list:
1. Bring back EOF for Cocoa in Objective-C. The EOControl, EOAccess,
and EOInterface frameworks, EOModeler, Interface Builder palettes, the
whole nine yards.
2. Open source Project Builder. There's no compelling competitive
advantage I can see to keeping it closed, and there's a developer
community that would love to have a more stable, more fully-featured
core tool chain.
3. Integrate Project Builder and Interface Builder a little more
tightly, like Project Builder and WebObjects Builder. For instance,
have IB dynamically pick up changes to classes referenced in a nib --
heck, even the classes themselves -- from the project the nib is a part
of.
4. Single-file XML nibs that can be merged from CVS. Single-file XML
nibs that can be merged from CVS. Single-file XML nibs that can be
merged from CVS. Can I say this enough? Binary nibs make working on
multiple-developer projects painful.
