Okay, I'm ranting now, so I'll stop - not that there isn't a long

it crash) at least once an hour. Is that normal?
You're not alone. While I like many of the new features, I've been
patiently awaiting the next release. John seemed to allude that the
wait may soon be over... The old dev tools crashed maybe once a week.
The new dev tools tend to randomly crash at least a few times a day
for me. Not every hour, as long as I remember not to do crazy things
like close windows.
You just have to remember not to close the run window when the built
application is still running. This crashes every time instead of
quitting the executable, like the old project builder used to do. Also
don't type into the console bit of the run window when the app isn't
running. It's still very annoying but at least there is a workaround.
Recently I had it crash when I tried to bring up the 'save all' dialog
- which was not nice!
I agree totally that the Dec 2002 tools are less stable that previous
versions - I only assume that the long wait since last December means
that PB 3 will appear at WWDC, and be much improved.

Tom
