Creating packages

OK, i know this probably cocoa 101 but i am having some trouble creating packages that have directory hierarchy. I create a new NSFileWrapper and initialize it with an empty directory. I can then move files to the new directories in the NSFileWrapper. However, my type and creator data seems to be missing and there is no contents directory (like when you click a package and say show contents).

Is there any good sample code on creating packages?
