Looks to me like it's just Project Builder with a new name, better
icons, and
the new GCC compiler. Looks pretty darn cool to me. Lots of new
features.
Objective-C is not gone. I wouldnt worry.

So I've got to ask: is Xcode the future of development on the Mac or is
it an iApp that will let my mom write programs?
If the latter, can we expect to see some of its more interesting
features rolled into IB/PB?
If the former, why no word on building upon IB/PB? The web page
mentions that it can import CodeWarrior projects, but makes no mention
of existing IB/PB projects.
I also find this line particularly worrisome:
"Whether youre writing your app in C, C++ or Java, scripting in
AppleScript or looking to migrate code from another legacy tool, youll
find that Xcode is as quick to forgive as it is to compile."
No mention of ObjC!! When I first started using ObjC, I swear I
thought
I had found god. I can't go to java now!!
