Did Steve Jobs mention something about a Safari SDK or was this just the webkit/foundation stuff. Someone also mentioned it was easy to make your own browser by just adding a few lines of code. How does one go about doing that. Where can I download all of this?

Safari SDK? Nah... WebKit is what you're looking for as it handles the core of the browser. It does all of the rendering, event handling, and networking on its own. You need to be at least an ADC Online member to download it as it's in the ADC account pages.
