Alternate command key assignments for a menu item

  • Subject: Alternate command key assignments for a menu item

Hi,

I have a need to assign two different command key shortcuts to a particular
menu item. The Carbon menu manager APIs provide several ways to do this,
but I cannot see an obvious way to do this in Cocoa. I was thinking I might
be able to create a hidden menu into which I could add menu items with the
alternate command key assignments, but I cannot see a way to accomplish
this.

Does anyone have a suggestion for accomplishing this?

Cheers
-Mark
