Drawing Directly to the Screen

  • Subject: Drawing Directly to the Screen

Hello,

I am looking for some sample code to allow me to draw images (or shapes)
directly to any coordinate on the screen, or a tutorial that would push me
in the right direction. I am also a new Objective-C / Cocoa programmer, and
was wondering what books you would recommend. I am familiar with
Java/C++/PHP/Perl languages. I am also partial to the book offerings from
O'Reilly.

Thanks,
Mike.
