(newbie) drawer problem

hi,
I have a Controller called mwController
in this Controller I have an IBOutlet drawer.
I would like to close this drawer from another controller called speechcontroller
I have import the mwController.h in speechcontroller.m
And the debugger said, that the drawer is undeclared.

Can someone help me?
