No.

/.vol is a mountpoint for the volfs virtual filesystem, which is used by Carbon to access files in other real filesystems.

Hi,
when backing up the MacOS X boot disk, should I copy the "/.vol" folder and
its content? I saw it has special permissions, but running as root I can
unlock it and copy it anyway, so now I would like to know, should I copy
that?

Thanks
