nibtool can't find my image

I have a problem with nibtool. When I make a localized version of my
nib I get an error about an image not being found. The nib file does
use an image, which is located in the root of the project. The image is
not made localizable though. I thought that was the problem but it
isn't.
Can anyone help me?
