My apologies for bothering the list with this item. It's OK now. I was almost correct in claiming that I hadn't made a code change that explained the exception. However my code had resulted in a data change that in turn exposed a weakness in the old code. Removing recent code modifications did not restore the situation because the data change remained.

Thank you to those who read my earlier plea.
