If you have not hear about Valentina...
Valentina is famous by its speed and flexible features, especially for
embedded database development. Look on benchmark pages.

Right now exists only C++ VSDK.framework for ProjectBuilder
But if you know C++ it is easy to use C++ VSDK from your Objective-C
application.

The native Objective-C wrapper for Valentina is in development.
