well, I read that. I don't see anything about how much free space, capacity, or type of media, sir. I'm not looking for info on a file, I'm looking for info on a volume (/Volumes/myDVD-RAM/ for instance)

NSFileManager doesn't have any such thing. Neither does the NSWorkspace.

maybe you should RTFM before telling me to do so. ;)
