There is something like WSMethodInvocationSetProperty with kWSHTTPExtraHeaders which could perhaps be used to set the Authorization header manually... but I cannot find any Base64 encoder anywhere to encode the authorization value. Is there a Base64 encoder in Cocoa/Carbon somewhere?

For the record: setting the kWSHTTPExtraHeaders does the trick. But still no Base64 encoder to be found anywhere... sigh...
