You can construct the disk images in the finder, using the folder
background feature (cmd+J will reveal the inspector). You put the
background on the disk image and select it. Then you make it invisible,
using SetFile or some resource editing application.
Another way is to use FileStorm from Mindvision. It is a great program
which will let you do the work once, in their application and reuse it
for each release. Creating disk images is very error-prone and takes a
lot of time to get right at each release. FileStorm makes it a breeze.
It is shareware, but not that expensive (I seem to recall $45...).
