All,
The simple example given on the man page for mount_webdav will wedge
your Finder. To see the bug in action, .Mac users need simply enter
the following in a terminal:
mount_webdav idisk.mac.com/YOUR_DOT_MAC_USERNAME/
/Volumes/YOUR_DOT_MAC_USERNAME
This will mount your iDisk. Now drag your iDisk to the trash and say
goodbye to the Finder.
You can re-launch your Finder via force-quit.
Any ideas about what's going on appreciated.
