Yeah, I would like to ask the Chartsmith "guys" to release the source code for their $129 product ... but I am afraid they might hurt my feelings.


Perhaps you should see if they still have the Chartsmith Server API to the application. In the NeXT days you could connect to CS via a Distributed Objects model and generate charts and then get the images back.
