Make sure you're pointing the subversion configure script to
apr-config and apu-config from your precompiled version of Apache, and
that you're using Apache 2.0.44 or later. You should not have needed
to change or fix Subversion at all; it should build right out of the
box for Mac OS X, as it does for me and several other people.
If that doesn't work, try compiling your own version of Apache using
the instructions in the Subversion INSTALL file (read carefully;
they're quite thorough and will save you pain.)
