Hello,

CFBundleDocumentTypes allows one to define which 'document' an application can open... which is very handy... but... what CFBundleTypeExtensions does one use to open folders only?

Which basically says: open anything. Is there a more restrictive CFBundleTypeExtensions, CFBundleTypeMIMETypes or CFBundleTypeOSTypes to only handle folders?

On OS 9, IIRC, 'fold' was used. Maybe it's still working on OS X.
