Find app by signature

Hi,

I'm looking at NSWorkspace hoping to find a method to locate an application
given its 4-byte signature (creator code). I see applicationForFile and I see
fullPathForApplication, but nothing that seems to know how to handle signatures.
Is that something that doesn't exist in Cocoa?
