In one of my projects, I encountered a problem that I couldn't tell my tooltip to update itself without moving my mouse out of the tool tip rect. (Pie Analyzer).
I tried to create a tool tip window of my own, but it looked ugly and hard to make it the right size for whatever I want to display.
Today I just found something while I was playing with iTunes.
There is a button on the bottom of the playlist with a "+" on it.
Its tool tip says "Create a Playlist".
Now, if you press Option the tool tip immediate changes to "Create a Smart Playlist".
Anyone know how this is done?
This will be the answer to my problems.
Thanks.

Pressing the Command key displays an "expanded" help tag, but this only works in Carbon.
