There's a great sample app called "ClipboardViewer" that comes with PB.
/Developer/Examples/AppKit/ClipboardViewer
I found this little utility priceless while working on cut/copy/paste &
drag/drop. Build it, run it, drag a message somewhere, then have a look
at what's on the "NSDragPboard".

Does anyone know what pasteboard type I would need to register to
accept messages dragged from Mail.app?
I've found that I can accept folders by allowing the user to drag them
to my app icon, and they open as documents in my applications, but
individual messages have eluded me.

To purchase it is not like spending money

in a blow against the empire
