I can't imagine that if it were converted completely into salary money for technical writers that we'd see as good a flow of information as this source provides.

The WWDC is at least as important to Apple's engineering groups as it is to the attendees. It's where we learn what you need, how we can improve your productivity, and how we can work together to deliver compelling products.
