loadDataRepresentation and file extention

Hi,


My app needs to read specific filetypes which are in fact ASCII files, only
they have a special extension. So in loadDataRepresentation I want to check
whether the selected file has this extension. How do I get the file
extension for the file that is being opened with loadDataRepresentation?

Or maybe should I use readFromFile?
