Generating barcode NSImages?

  • Subject: Generating barcode NSImages?

Hi folks,
does anyone know of an algorithm / class for generating an NSImage-compatible image (eg. JPG, TIFF, PDF, PICT etc.) of a barcode, given the number of the barcode? i.e. if I give it the numberical value of the barcode, then it generates the stripey barcode image, which I can then chuck in a PDF.

If I could do it with Cocoa/Java, that'd actually be preferable, as I'm trying to integrate it with WebObjects.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
Ken
